BitPim
You can use BitPim with the LG Voyager to edit almost every feature on the phone. Doesnt work if you recently updated your Voyager to the newest firmware.
. : Basic Setup : .
Download the newest test release of BitPim it has support built in for voyager! BitPim Test Release BitPim 1.0.5 (28 Jan 2008) BitPim Download Page: http://bitpim.org/#download
. : Basic Setup The Old Way : .
Using the 1.0.2 release of BitPim you must select VX 8700 when detecting the phone to add ringtones and photos on/off the phone and VX 8550 to read and write from phonebook. The 1.0.3.20071126 test release of BitPim has the LG Voyager (VX 10000) listed in phone types, and supports transferring ringtones, images, calendar, and contacts. Music and Video files must be added manually through the file system view. Windows operating systems must have the drivers on the disk provided in the standard issue LG Voyager box installed before BitPim will properly recognize the phone. Most Linux based operating systems should be able to allow BitPim to access the LG Voyager, however the proper permissions to access USB devices will have to be set. See the Troubleshooting section of the BitPim help for more details. When plugging the LG Voyager in to a computer with the USB adapter make sure not to select either transfer mode, at least on Windows XP, as the phone appears as a different device that BitPim cannot interact with correctly.
File Locations
BitPim does not show the file system by default, View>View Filesystem to enable.

Adding Files
Images
Adding images to the LG Voyager can be accomplished by going to the tree menu pane of BitPim, expanding the Phone submenu, then the Media submenu, and finally highlighting the Images option. From there either click the Add or Remove buttons near the top left of the BitPim window, or just drag images directly onto the right pane to add them.
Music
As of 12/5/2007 BitPim will not correctly add music to the LG Voyager via the Media tab, so it must be done manually through the filesystem. First make sure that the music file is in a format supported by the Voyager (mp3, wma, aac, wav, etc) and then navigate in the filesystem view to the music folder and drag and drop the files into the pane on the far right. You should see the progress bar on the lower part of the screen start slowly advancing, be patient as it does this for every song. If your audio files have tagging information it will be picked up by the music player on the phone and they will be sorted out based on the tags for Artist, Album, Genre, etc. The files appear instantly on the Voyager after transfer and there is no need to restart the phone.
You can also add music to your voyager via a micro SD card. Placing files (same formats as above) into a folder called "my music" in the root directory will make them available to the phone in the music menu.
Video
As of 12/3/2007 BitPim will not correctly add video to the LG Voyager via the Media tab, so it must be done manually through the filesystem. To add video to the LG Voyager first convert it to the .3g2 format with a transcoder. SUPER(tm) does this on windows XP and a current version can be found on the Afterdawn Forums. Navigate to the Video folder in the Voyager's filesystem, then drag and drop the .3g2 file into the right pane. After the transfer is complete the phone will have to be turned off then back on for the video to show up in the My Videos section of the phone.
Also if you have Quicktime Pro you can convert videos for your phone! Just get Quicktime Pro (Thats up to you!)
Now once that's installed on you computer
load the compatible video you would like to convert into quicktime pro.
Now Choose File -> Export
Choose where to save the output of the converted file then set the conversion parrameters
For export choose: Movie to 3G
For Use: 3GPP2 - Release A
Now Click Save
and you will have your converted file for your phone.
this is why the Voyager can not be hacked in any way this was written by the unfamous Drew Wood.
Ring Tones
Adding ring tones is rather easy. Using BitPim, access the file system. Navigate to '/brew/mod/10889/ringtones/'. Here you will see an empty folder. Right click and select 'New File...' Navigate to your desired MP3, MIDI, or WAV formatted audio file and click open. BitPim will transfer the file (though it may take some time for large files.) Once you have added all of the tones you want, disconnect the data cable and reboot the phone. This is necessary for the phone to recognize the new file listing.
Also if you don't want the entire MP3 as a tone you could use 'MP3 Direct Cut' to chop out the section you want to hear.
If you have V Cast Music Manager. Rename "file.mp3" to "ringtones file.mp3", dissconnect and look in the ringtone directory. V cast music manager converts all music files to wma.
Dial Up Networking Hack
From the MIP tab in LG Download once in NV Edit mode (Go to the programming menu > Data > MIP Setting > NAI Setting > MIP DUN NAI >), you can edit the phonenumber@dun.vzw3g.com to phonenumber@vzw3g.com. Then chose "Write" to phone and test it. #777 DUN
